1. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
It is Vancouver’s first tourist attraction opened in 1889. It is constructed over the Capilano river with 140 meters length and 70 meters breadth in the district of Vancouver. There is a new tourist attraction called Cliffwalk which was added to the park in June 2011. Also, it has the largest collection of North America’s Totem poles, temperate rainforest etc. Another interesting spot of the park is Treetops Adventure, a series of seven suspension bridges that enables visitors to venture from one magnificent tree to another and experience the squirrel’s eye view of the park.

2. Stanley Park
Stanley Park is a lush solid ground park of giant trees adjacent to Downtown Vancouver incorporated in 1886. This area is the first one of them to be explored in the city. It was named after Lord Stanley, a British politician. The park offers several things to attract tourists. Unlike other parks, Stanley Park is not the creation of an architect but the evolution of forest and urban space over many years. The park has a dense forest with about a half million trees, some of them stand as tall as 76 meters. The Stanley Park was named as the ” top park in the entire world” in 2014. 3. English Bay
Ocean front English Bay is one of the city’s loveliest and busiest beaches. It is located to the West End of the Vancouver city. English Bay offers a large number of leisure activities like sunbathing, swimming, sunset watching etc. English Bay beaches are a major tourist attraction to visitors all through the year, being the peak season in late summer months. It also hosts a large number of public events, ” the celebration of light”, is a famous competition held every summer. 4. Gastown
Gastown is the core creation of Vancouver, named after Gassy Jack Deighton, a steamboat captain who arrived in 1867 to open the first saloon in that area. It is a locality of restaurants, gift shops, bars, cinemas etc. It also exhibits many professional offices, art galleries, music and art studios, film schools and much more. Gastown was designated as National Historic Site of Canada in 2009. Steam-Powered Clock is the most famous landmark of Gastown which was built in 1977.

Canada National Palace is located in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown harbor front. Canada Palace is an iconic landmark for local residents as well as foreign visitors. It provides the facilities that include Canada Flyover, Vancouver Convention Centre East, Pan Pacific Hotel, Port Metro Vancouver cruise ship terminal, World Trade Centre office tower etc. Canada hosts the celebration of Canada Day at this beautiful Palace, the largest celebration in Canada. 9. Queen Elizabeth Park

10. Science World
It is a science center run by a not-for-profit organization in Vancouver. The building’s name change to the Telus World of Science on July 20, 2005. It features many permanent interactive exhibits and displays with varying topics throughout such as water, air, motion, and invention etc. Science World was briefly seen in the 2002 American telefilm ‘First Shot’.
